We are Nexus Vaulters - the Australian squad qualified to compete at the 2026 FEI World Championships in Germany.
Nexus Vaulters is a dedicated group of athletes, all members of Sydney Vaulting Group. Since forming at the beginning of 2023, we have spent the past two and a half years building our squad from the ground up. Our athletes travel from Canberra, the Hawkesbury, Bathurst, and the Northern Beaches to train together, strengthening and developing our team as we work towards our international goal.
Australian Athletes Sharing One Dream
Our Goal
To be selected as the Australian squad for the 2026 FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany.
Representing our country on the world stage is the culmination of countless hours of training, hard work, personal sacrifice, and the unwavering support of our community that has helped shape our journey so far.
This opportunity is truly once in a lifetime - a chance to showcase Australian talent, teamwork, and determination at the biggest international event in our sport.
What is Vaulting?
Vaulting is a discipline that combines the athleticism and strength of gymnastics with the artistry and expression of dance, all performed in harmony with the horse.
Nexus’s focus is squad competition. A squad consists of six vaulters who work together to create a choreographed routine to music, blending individual, pair, and trio elements into one cohesive performance.
Squad vaulting demands an exceptional level of teamwork, communication, and trust - not only between the athletes themselves, but also with the horse who is the heart of every routine.
